Medicine cabinets with internal controlled drugs cabinets. BS 2881:1989 compliant medicine cabinets with BS2881:1989 and Misuse of drugs (Safe Custody) Act compliant controlled drugs cabinet inside. These cabinets are designed to comply with CQC guidance on storing medicines and controlled drugs in care homes.

These external medicine cabinets are available with a selection of three internal controlled drugs cabinets. Except HECMED230. The three internal cabinet options offer a good choice of storage options, depending on your CD storage needs. These cabinets are as follows:

• Option A – HECDC001 – 300mm (H) x 210mm (W) x 270mm (D)
• Option B – HECDC002 – 335mm (H) x 300mm (W) x 270mm (D)
• Option C – HECDC905 – 500mm (H) x 300mm (W) x 270mm (D)

The HECMED230 is only available with option A due to size constraints.

These cabinets come as two parcels, however installation is very simple. All the fixing holes are pre-drilled in the back of both cabinets, and all the fixing bolts to install are provided.

Our Medicine Cabinet Construction

All our medicine cabinets are manufactured from 0.9mm thick mild steel and feature a welded construction. Our medicine cabinets also feature a 6-pin euro profile lock and fully adjustable internal shelving.

PLEASE NOTE: These cabinets do not conform to the “Misuse of Drugs (Safe Custody) Regulations 1975” and are not suitable for the storage of controlled drugs. Please see our controlled drugs cabinets for controlled drugs storage.
