What’s in the Box
All our products come with the necessary shelves etc either onside the cabinet itself or within the packaging. How we pack products depends on how we ship them. Items travelling by parcel courier with be packed differently to those travelling on a pallet.
What to look for:
- Main item, I.e. Cabinet or trolley
- Shelves – these will either be on top the pallet or inside the products itself
- Fixing bolts (Controlled Drugs cabinets only)
- Keys – all cabinets are shipped with the keys physically attached to the packaging in a draw string bag.
Keys
The keys to your new cabinet or trolley are the hardest part for us to ship. Due to the regulations, we cannot ship the keys inside the cabinet itself, (key retention prevents us from doing this).
As a result, we now physically attach the keys to the cabinet itself in a plastic draw string bag. This is secured around the lock itself. Although we try and put the bag in as prominent a location as possible, please DO NOT throw the packaging away until the keys have been located. Due to the way we dispatch products we cannot ship them without the keys so your product will have them enclosed within the packaging somewhere. If the keys have been lost, we cannot supply replacements.
For trolleys, the keys will be zip tied inside the door itself.
Fixing
Please note that to be compliant, all our cabinets should be installed using the bolts provided. Fixings are shipped with all controlled drugs cabinets and can be purchased separately for all other units.
Tall cabinets over 600mm high must be fixed to the wall to ensure the cabinet does not topple over when opened. Cabinets not secured to the wall could create a health and safety issue and also may not operate as intended.
