Building upon our long-established experience as sheet metal engineers, we have developed an extensive range of Medicine cabinets for use within the medical sector. Working closely as we do with pharmacies and care homes, our Medicine cabinets have been designed to meet their requirements.
Here at HEC Showman we manufacture a wide range of Medicine cabinets which are designed to suit the wide variety of medicine storage needs within this sector. Based in the East Midlands, Nottinghamshire, we utilise our purpose-built facility to manufacture and stock our comprehensive range of medicine cabinets. The cabinet range is designed to suit the requirements of both the independent pharmacy, hospital and general medical care sector requirements. All MDS trolleys manufactured by us are sold under our “Locbox Medical” brand and are available for wholesale and direct purchase.
We have manufactured Medicine cabinets here in the United Kingdom for over 10 years and the knowledge and expertise we have gained during that time is trusted and valued by many leading organisations within the medical industry.

Medicine Cabinet Construction:
All our cabinets are constructed from sheet 1.2mm thick mild steel. The component parts are laser cut to shape and then CNC press formed to make the raw components. The use of CNC laser and press forming results in an accurate and repeatable construction process.
The formed parts of the cabinet are then welded together. Medicine cabinets feature a welded construction, but don’t need to be fully welded.
The welded components are then powder coated in our purpose-built finishing facility. Powder coating results in a tough, durable and hygienic finish.
The painted components are then assembled. The door is attached to the body. The lock is then secured to the door and the cabinet inspected.
Every cabinet is packaged individually to ensure that all parts are sent correctly. Fixing bolts are placed into the box, along with the cabinet. Finally, the keys are placed in a bold red envelope, labelled and secured to the cabinet.
