As manufacturers of shot gun cabinets and saddle safes for many years we were looking to evolve the product to include a wider market. The strict requirement for storage of Controlled drugs has a similar requirement to the storage of shotguns so this seems a natural progression for us. Controlled drugs cabinets are required to be built to BS2881:1989 and the design and manufacture methods currently used on our shotgun cabinets mean they would exceed BS2881:1989 level 1 security requirement.

Research into the size and type of Controlled drug container and packet sizes was carried out both from customer survey and similar products currently on the market. From this information we decided upon seven styles of Drug cabinet to put into production. The smaller units are manufactured with fixed shelves and an adjustable shelf system is incorporated in the larger cabinets. All Drugs cabinets are supplied with fitting instructions and fixing bolts and finished in a durable polyester powder coated finish.
